Hardy Signs stairway timeline redesign
2023 saw Hardy Signs turning 30 years old. The marketing department was hard at work creating campaigns leading up to its 30th birthday on August 1st. One of the tasks I was given as marketing executive was adding an engaging timeline to the stairway leading from the reception to the office spaces upstairs, showing the rich history and achievements to the company to customers visiting the company as they walk upstairs. The idea was to give them an interesting and educational experience whist promoting the company’s achievements, making them more likely to partner with us and buy our products.
30 points in history were created, symbolising 30 years, which I designed and spoke to the production manager to ensure that it was completed before the 30th anniversary filming dates in June 2023, with help from my co-worker writing the text for the shapes. Working in sales for the company for 2 months designing signs taught me how to effectively measure spaces and send artwork to production.
I used a modernistic style to the timeline to be up to date with 2023 and the black, blue and white colour palette are the Hardy Signs colours seen in our brand guidelines.
